Containing 2.4% glutaraldehyde and tested and cleared as a high-level disinfectant, it is:
Effective – achieves high-level disinfection in 20 minutes at 20°C
Long Lasting – Reusable for up to 14 days when monitored with CIDEX® Solution Test Strips
Compatible – Can be used safely to disinfect a wide range of instruments, reducing the risk of damage and associated cost of repairs
CIDEX® can be used to disinfect a wide range of medical instruments, made of aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, plastics and elastomers.
CIDEX® Activated Glutaraldehyde Solution provides a wide spectrum efficacy against bacteria, mycobacteria, viruses and fungi. The solution can also achieve some sporicidal activity with longer exposure time.
